swapped the throttle bodies and dumped the gas.

still runs like crap.

 

Anyone got that picture with captions on how the kleen air mod is supposed to be run. Maybe he had it hooked up wrong.

 

I found the pic and everything seems to be where it is supposed to be. No vacuum leaks. Gas is good. Swapped the throttle bodies and the sensors.

Same exact issue still occurs. Does not recover when bogged down, takes to long to regain idle.

get your valves checked . may be out of spec. cam chain too. or your fuel pump filter.

I changed the entire throttle body, which means all of the sensors.

 

Are you sure about that one , I know the throttle bodies doesn't come with map sensors.
The map sensors is located on the top of vavle cover if i m not mistaken but I know 05/06 do.

That t-body could of been junk. I got another for you to try.

I'll give you a fuel pump also for ***** n giggles.
My bike started dong the same thing today as yours. Idle dropping way low then returning when it felt like it.

I just did a bunch of rev limiter burnouts and problem was fixed ha ha. just gas it **** idle

 

dude my does the same thing, the dam idle wont pull consistant, got blurp the throttle all the time during circles makes it real hard to be smooth, i even got a power commander got it tuned perfectly, but it still idles weird

 

throttle body set number 2 and 3. FAIL.

I dunno. Valves now I guess.

 

sorry i dont want to read all those pages, but what about you high idle switch is it still connected if not it may be moving at your throttle bodies and it will vibrate its self open all the time it took me 2 weeks to fig out that is what was happening.

 

Still doesn't work. Valves good. Gas good. Four throttle bodies later.

Anyone have the magic fix?

 

i think maybe since it has high miles maybe the rings are a lil bad so the compression is a lil low so maybe thats y it wont idel?

try synching the throttle bodies. even tho uve swapped em out a few times, all of those that u tried are likely out of synch. it doesnt take much, i know my bike runs 100% better after i do it, and i usually do it every 6 or 7k miles.

MY F4I DOES THE SAME THING....as far as the idle..and the fi lihjt stays on...it has 30k miles on it...wtf
