Near the end of your stoppie, you must lean (push the bar) to the direction that you plan to 180 and bring it up extra high. As a result of steering, slowing and raising your height, the bike will dip in on the side of the tire much like the rear wheel dip for a circle wheelie.
The easiest and possibly most disturbing way to think about it is that you are almost intentionally trying to flip the stoppie at the last minute, but because of the turning action, the 'flip' will land you back onto the rear wheel. You sort of get higher an higher while turning and then when you come to a stop, the bike continues around.
In the beginning, if you don't make it all the way around, you can try to push the bike the rest of the way by pushing/pulling on the handlebars to force your body and the body of the bike to twist away from the front wheel. Usually if you are not making it all the way around, it is because you are (rightfully) getting scared and not lifting the rear wheel high enough.
This is a difficult trick to explain or teach, but I hope this information helps.

Trickshow, why dont you post some video when you ask for help? At least this way people can see what youre doing or not doing and be able to explain it better
Instead you come on here asking how to do circles when you dont even got idle on lock and now 180 stoppies. I thought you were selling your bike anyway

Re: Yo whats the best way to start learning 180 endos?
Get to bp, let the *** end go to the side ever so slightly and then hold it there while still maintaining the bp. This will steer the
Bike rather than trying to flip it around.
Forget the 180, just try to steer your stoppie. When you fan do that and control it you will be able to do 180s with no prblem.
Hard part is maintaining the bp height as you drive it around and counter steer against the tail coming around
