Who has ever done stunt work for a movie?

There is a film company out of my home town that is filming and needs some wheelies and stoppies for a few scenes in their movie...I am still not sure how big of a company they are but they are shutting down like 3 blocks of main street in my town of like 80,000 people so they have to have some credibility.

But who has done it and how much should I be getting paid????

He said it will probably take about 8 hours of work over a couple days. He got my contact info from the local bike shop and he is sending over the script so I can see what all I will be doing and stuff.

Oh and I will be doing it on my R1 not my stunt bike cuz they want a stock looking bike.

i think it depends on the production and its final display...

 

i don't think it would be out of the question to get paid at least a grand... i worked as a driver for the actors on a low budget film and still made $150 a day.

 

We made $350 a day as extras for the movie Biker Boys.

sag and afra have set rates for different states / cities.

will they hire non union workers for the film your trying to get into? sometimes the will hire non union for less money.. depends on the production though.

Being that I will be on my own bike and the cars chasing me are going to be locally owned by people I am guessing in movie terms this is pretty low budget...

guy says he wants it to be pretty close to the chase scene at the beginning of transporter 1 and half way through transporter 2...very fast paced....

haha and I am going to have roll a stoppie up real close to a almost brand new viper that pulls out in front of me...hope I judge it right....haha...
