If you weld on more than a half it will never clear the frame when you put it back on the bike, by bolting it on you can get it past the frame then bolt it on..thats what Im thinkin anyway

What do you need a picture of Extend the arm. You can go longer on a 636 with the welded version. F4i youre limited on room but 636 you got more room.

shut yer mouth and make that damned video

hahaha I just wanted a visual before I left work cause I wanna go buy a piece of steel, and I wanna see how its been done on the 636 before I do it my way. If noone has one thats ok as well I'll just do it when I get home. And neal do you have this done to your f4i?

It's the same on every bike.

There is a clutch arm that comes out of the motor, you make it 1/2"-3/4" longer.

If you can't figure that out, just give up.

Nope I dont have it done yet I started doing the weldless version and fucked it all up so i had Nick weld a piece for me but since it had holes from the weldless version I fucked that up too. So now Ima bring the piece to your house since you got a welder and you could weld the **** for me And since you have a 636 you could do the welded version and have plenty of length for an easy pull Or you could just give up like Towliee said

if you go too long you will have to adjust your cable so tight that the clutch will end up slipping 5/8 is the longest i would go

Re: F4i clutch arm mod... weld-less version.

The weldless version is the best way to go on the f4i due to the frame clearence issues, I did mind today and had it set up to weld but decided to go weldless so i go go a bit longer...cant go 3/4 with the welded version

u have a point but on bikes like mine you got to be a bit more creative, the damn clutch arm is mafe of aluminum or some **** it ain't steel like f4i's and 636's

Re: F4i clutch arm mod... weld-less version.
