i always buy 140 its not that much more and its cheap insurance to make sure youre riding the same day.

i just ran into this same problem.
i just installed my chain and its already adjusted all the way back. the adjusters were all the way in at installation and it was less than half a link away from bein able to take another link out.
..i hate when my tire is that far back, therefore i figure i got two options. one, ride it and see if it stretches out enough to give me the extra slack to take the last link out, or just take the link out now and probly have to take the axle out to get the chain off for tire changes.


any opinions or insight?

So did I buy to many links by getting a 140 link cahin? I got a 16/55 that I wanna slap on there but I don't know how many links it would take. And what those having the tire closer to the engine do? Would it help with wheelies? If so I want to mount it as close as possible to the engine. Thanks guys
