And whenever I'm riding I just use my left hand and push on the number plate a little bit and I can see my gauges just fine.

PS.... you are about 1000x more likely to hit your gauges mounted on the side of your bike VS how/where I have mine mounted.
Whenever I learned idle, im DAMN happy I ran my gauges..

On my f4i, running the correct ammount of oil.. First tiem I learned idle, I noticed a red light out of the corner of my eye..
Next time I did a idle, I looked down at my gauges.. Oil light was on!

Quit doing wheelies and went straight home.. Put a extra half quart in, and tried it again, no oil light!

Glad I ran gauges.. Otherwise I woulda just kept riding..

However now I really don't 'NEED' them for stunting.. But its nice to know if my fan is working (ie if my temp gauge says 250 and my fan aint on, I know im fucked)
nice to know if my oil is low, and really nice to know if im outa gas..
First time I didn't run gauges, I ended up running out of gas lol

The way mine are mounted I can just barely see the top of the gauges and all of the lights. The oil, FI light, and top part of the tach I can see just fine. Just depends on how you mount them.

damn that looks factory...i just got mine ziptied behind the number plate but angled so i can see them without moving them around...i dont think they are going to hold up much longer being where they are though and i really dont feel like getting smashed in the face by my gauges

Thats the new hotness from FullThrottle. DSCamry posted them up so after seeing them I picked em up. They have 2 different ones listed on their site. One is just the bars.

http://www.fullthrottleinc.net/store...roducts_id/194

And the other is the bars with all extended cables. The clutch cable could fit although I dont like how its positioned so I ordered a longer cable. The Front brake lines are okay too but my throttle cables wouldnt reach. I ordered +2" cables from Motion Pro and they work fine.

see. I would have built one over the weekend had you not been an asshat and brought your bike. Or gotten out of her bed to come and ride with us. I had a bike for you

Re: how do u mount gauges on SF?

They're not as high as my old lsl tripple w the renthal bars but I havent had a chance to test them out yet. I will tomorrow or over the weekend so I'll let you know. I love the fact that I can run my gpr w the bars though.
