Re: how do u mount gauges on SF?

i wanna be able to bolt it down, or have a solid stay. last time i dropped the bike, the impact just ripped the gauges off.

Because the gauge is on the side of engine, not on the top of clamp.

Re: how do u mount gauges on SF?

I built a gauge stay out of flat bar for my F4i when i went acerbis and SF. Not that hard, especially if you have steel fork mounts for the headlight and not that rubber ziptie bullshit.

Re: how do u mount gauges on SF?

I went to home depot got flat stock whiped out the welder and sawzaw and created this and primed it . drilled 2 holes in my top tripple and mounted it.. One of the 3 mounting tabs on my gauges was broke and flopped around so i ziptied it to the mount I made to keep it sturdy for when I mouse trap wheelies.. haha I kid.. But yeah supper simple mabe took all of 45 mins to make.Name: P2190009.jpg

...but i think it might get in the way of of deh acerbis.

and hate, i JUST noticed those gauges, dat looks like a sweet spot to put em, cause it looks like the cage will also keep it from getting hit, if i can't figure out a better way to put it on top, dats def. where i'll put it.
