Thats simple! Just stick your head, where the sprocket is... at like 30 mph, only in second gear though... And then clutch it up! Try keeping your foot off of the back brake in case you survive!

no doubt thx scott....ill be fine with my circles i hope never done them with a stock bike!!!!

Re: who rocks stock gears or close to it

Would it be easier to learn circles on a F4i/636 with a big sprocket like a 64 or would it be easier with a smaller gear like a 53? I seem to have going slow down to a science, i just cant get the bike to lean hard. I DONT have clutch control, i cant do coasters. My circle learning will be done with all rear brake.

I Cant see Complaining about it one bit...
I could have got any bike i wanted. and the R1 was calling me..

And i Am looking for a stunter though,. my Kawi is a Hunk of metal.
and way to heavy to do anything ADVANCED!!
if you left a honda by 3 lengths it was rider error and not the bike 1k are so close that it is strickly the rider who is better so with me on honda 1k it would be me winning with 3 lengths:YEAH

Re: who rocks stock gears or close to it

I'm at -1 +4, i used to be -2 +10. It took me a day to get used to how much to clutch it and **** and I still can't do circles but I'm working on it.

I used to be able to do 10-15 circles with the larger gearing when my other biike was running good.

It seems like every time I turn in I stall. I think thats because I'm trying to slow down too much to turn in when I should throw it in at a more reasonable speed.

I'm -1 but I still suck and am trying to find bp. I would like to stay as close to stock as possible for a long time.

Re: who rocks stock gears or close to it

Used to rock -1/+2 and didn't like it at all was way to weak. People say to just bounce/clutch up my first an I can do it. It comes up nice and smooth to bp and I can rock it slow. But only problem is the bounce/clutch isn't consistent with me. On top of that many times I end up missing my brake or not being able to hit it on time. Now I put on a -2 front sprocket (-2/+2) and it comes up nice and easy without bouncing. Still didn't get a practice day in wiht the gearing but I think it'll work well.
