Do you have any ideas whats wrong with my bike? f4i
I changed my spark plug and it keeps gettin fouled ( gas ) every time i started up and runs good , if i touch it to give little rev then it shuts off.
Could it be regulator , vacuum placed into wrong places , fuel injection or tps ?
Thanks

exhaust valve might be blocked, maybe weak spark...check points, condenser, electronic module, coils, and spark plug wire. before any of that though just make absolutly sure that your using the right plugs for the bike, if its too hot/cold of a plug that will cause it to foul.

That could be it anyhoo i dont see f4 exhaust make a difference thats what I have on my f4i motor.
I changed the fuel pressure regulator , i have extra coil pack which i ll try that one tomorrow to see how it goes from there.

Thats attached to the fuel pump right? Then I bet you put it back together somewhat wrong. Maybe you didnt fully plug it in. If Im not mistaken, on my gsxr, there is an o-ring that fits together when you push it in. Hopefully its somewhat comparable. I bet it didnt seat complete or is blocking the passage.

Points??? come-on man, nothing uses points these days.
I dont think the plug 'heat range' will make that much of a difference, It sounds like a fuel delivery issue to me.
Re: Do you have any ideas whats wrong with my bike? f4i
Plugs heat range is determined by the number on the plug=B7HS. What stinks is NGK is backwards from the other plug companies and I forget which is which. A B6HS (depending on the company) will opetate 10 degrees hotter/colder than a B7HS. A B9HS will operate at a 20 degree differance than a B7HS and a 30 degree difference would be a B7HS compared to a B10HS. The difference in the plug is all in the insulator. The hotter plugs have a longer insulator, while the cold plugs have a shorter insulator.
