2003 636 not cooling correctly...

alright tonight on my ride home my bike did something it never does, its 56 degrees outside right now and my commute is maybe 2 miles. started the bike let it come up to 115ish and rode off. stopped at 1st light(temp 150 degrees) for 30 seconds. light turns green ride to the next light. stop at the red(temp 185) continue another mile and a half, the bike gets to about 215 and stays there, pull in to my place, coolant on the rear tire also? wtf?

maybe a bad water pump?

i rode earlier today for about 2 hours and the bike was running a little warmer then normal for such a cool day i thought.

any ideas?

215 isn't hot, find your leak and make sure the radiator is full.
