dampeners

im getting an 03 R1 and im going to get a dampener and was woundering what dampeners u would recomend thx

ohlins are great but i believe you would need a top mount for an 03, so its going to run about 500.00 for a new one. prob. find one on ebay for a good price though.

i had a top mounted scotts and work well ,,, switch to a ohlins and what a diference !!!! way better feels tighter fo show ! ! !

So you say you have a GS500 , your avatar pic is a gixxer 750 and your getting a crappy R1, sound like a dreamer to me. If you're not b.s.ing then any damper you get is going to be better then no damper stock.

I have an R1 too, love the hyper-pro on it, it allows for stiffer adjustment than the ohlins did...but mine is a lil different set-up than urs.

I run a GPR and like it. Any dampeners going to be better than no dampner.
