I couldn't find the thread on denting your tank, but I remember reading it. Some people said to take off the gas cap and some said leave it on. Well I just dented my tank on my F4i and I now would recomend taking it off. At least take off the ring around the cap. I broke mine while denting the tank...no big deal, it's nothing I can't JB Weld back together. I'm just saying, if you don't know what your doing, I would remove the ring around the cap before you start hitting it. I used a rubber malet with a towel over it...it came out smooth. I'll post pics soon...
