Like ctr said if he gets on it even alittle bit in the corners that bish is goin to try to kick out on him if he isnt very careful.

Also tryin to learn BP on somethin like a 1k to me seems like it'd be stupid because its got so much power its goin to make it difficult to keep that throttle control in check (and im not speakin from experience im speakin from common sence.)

Re: I'm convinced...the GSXR-1000!

Oh, and I was talked out of a bike.....the Hayabusa. That was my dream bike until I did some research, and from this forum I have concluded that a bike that weighs more than 500 lbs. and won't be the best at stunts really isn't the bike for me. The 1K will be able to stunt (not all of the time) and it isn't near 500 lbs!

The 1k will be able to stunt yes.. But is better off stunted by someone with experience in riding. Which you do have yes... but you dont have very much experience in riding a liter bike. If you have never even been on a liter bike id definatly take it for a test ride first. Then you'll probably conclude for yourself that its to much bike.

There was a video of someone on here that looped there 1k gixxer because it "got away from him" do as you wish but if or when you loop it and screw up that bike beyound repair dont expect sympothy from anyone here cause you'll just get a big fat "We told you so"

i never said anyone was jealous, and yes, the corners are probly where he'll lose it first, i've even washed my r1 out in a corner and it sucked.

but as far as learning bp, it would probly be safer on a six, my friend learned bp on his zx9 pretty fast. it just depends on him and how quickly he can adapt the bike.

I dunno what happened to it but i remember the kid filming started crying cause he thought hes friend was dead. And the guy that looped almost hit an oncommin bike then was rollin on the ground in agony afterwards. He looped directly after bringing it up wasnt riding it out for any distance which means... to much power.... or just a "woops"

Re: I'm convinced...the GSXR-1000!

Who cares if u ruin the bike, buy it if u want it. As far as your abilities go, you know your abilities the best. If u want to learn how to stunt "eventually" that puppy is toast. I dont care about your life, or the bike. Hell, it's still cheaper than any car brand new. Do what the hell you want. there are quick learners. Some people never learn. Only 1 way to find out. The only thing I dont like about liter bikes is they leave no room for newbie errors. Most of us have destroyed bikes so we know how it goes. But u could be an exception. I dont know you so I won't tell you what to do. I would get a 600 tho. Either way GL .

Re: I'm convinced...the GSXR-1000!

Geez 1K will split your wig on the good side or bad....show room floor or wrecking. I have one and loved it when it was brand new. Stunting it was a little on the downside due to issues with cage mishaps and overall heaviness.

And power wise....the 1K is basically a stroked 750. So you do the math....$$
