Re: 50 Wont Start

there is probably a kink in the ignition hose where the ignition molecules flow through to the flux capacitor. Also check your piston return springs, they may be going soft

yep,you beat me to it! That was the problem with mine,to fix it so it won't happen again just wiggle the wires for the turn signals and repack the muffler with sand and gatorade.....you will never have a problem with it again

not to break up the bs but did you see if you hooked the run/stop switch wires when you put the bars back on...Also hit it with starting fluid t see if it will start, if it don't then you may have an ign problem! maybe just pull the plug and see if there is any fire!

take off your spark plug and hold it next to the head and kick it. your checking for a spark if you got that you know its not your ignition. check all ground wires make sure there attached to the frame. clean your carb with b 12 carb cleaner and use compressed air in the mainjet. also try new gas or starting fluid as said above^^.

Re: 50 Wont Start

Take out your plug and sand it a lil bit.
Sometimes mine starts funny or runs rough.
I can pull out that plug and sand it and it fires right up.
