Just wanted to see what people have done for Carb tuning and there PIPES what kind and how did it WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This could be a huge post but i'll keep it simple... Stock engine keep the stock exhaust...Once you get a big bore 88c then you can get into aftermarket exhaust... I had a biggun on stock engine and it took power away and was hard to jet...Use your money towards a bigbore and 18mm or 20mm carb

 

Yeah, but can't you go....UNI pod filter, pipe, and change the clip on the needle? That way you shouldn't lose power, right?!?!?!?

 

Hey I actually just finshed up my fiddy with a FMF and TBR air filter moved the need down one slot and adj carb a little and it runs real strong...pulls away from a stock one nice.....

PERSONALLY UNLESS YOUR RUNNING A AFTERMARKET HEAD WITH BIGGER INTAKE AND EXHAUST PORTS KEEP THE STOCK PIPE. A REGULAR 88 KIT WILL RUN FINE WITHOUT A PIPE.

 

i have fabs 88 kit with 20mm carb stock pipe for now until my superhead and fmf get here.

the bike ran great nice and strong, i did just add a big gun cdi and it seemed to smoooth the idle out and it revs nice and even, unless it's just me, but seems to have helped.

well let you know when I get the superhead and pipe on.
