Hittin' the gym

just wondering how many people hit up the gym and if so, what type of workouts do you do?
i'm talkin about working out that is geared towards riding.
stuff for arm pump, building up your back muscles, rowing, etc...
it seems alot of the numba one stunnas happen to be in shape,
woods, patrick, kane, darius, histaminblkr, yada yada yada........
and when you hit the gym frequently, stay drug/smoke free, it can affect your performance in great ways and make a world of a difference.
i know i just recently quit smoking and am only doing workouts that use my own weight against me, and not weights. and i've been jogging here and there. not only that i have been staying away from the soda, mcdonalds, and all that other garbage....

thanks,
Dave

Re: Hittin' the gym

iv been lifting and running for about a year and a half. I like working out ALMOST as much as i do riding. it gets real addictive once ya start to see results. main thing is to KEEP WITH IT. so many people just want to work out to get big arms and than after a month they give it up... *****s in my mind... after about 3 or 4 months youll start to get results and than its all over, after a year your totaly hooked!!! i usteo run long distance to get rid of some fat and do high reps to get more cut... now i only run 20 min MAX to keep the fat off and I do HIGH INTENSITY lifts to get HUGE! i went from 220 of pure fat to 165 and no muscle and now im 180 and pretty full... all withen a year and a half or so. eat right, lift withen your limits and have fun with it! arms, back and core are most important every day **** really. its all about looking good while your stuntin!!!

Re: Hittin' the gym

supplements are not needed for the most part unless u r becoming a pro bodybuilder. Protein powder and a multi-vitamin are all thats needed the rest should come fomr the food u eat.

Re: Hittin' the gym

i just started hitting the gym this winter cuz i was a 150 lb wimp. i've put on about 15-20 lbs between eating (i moved in with my woman, who really f.uc.ks up a kitchen) and working out. I really like going. I feel a lot better physically: less aches and pains, more muscles to turn wrenches, and its even making me not want to get fukt up as much. i was a regular stoner, now it seems i smoke mbe once a week...mbe someday i can be a behemouth like everyone else in RUI!
I workout 4 or 5 days pretty intense for an hour or so then we take 2 or 3 days off, and repeat the cycle. the kid i go with used to be a personal trainer, so i just do as im told. its freakin sweet! :YEAH

See thats your problem. You spend too much time trying to be like someone else. Why not be like YOU?

okay... to be honest your girl is right, creatine really isnt that good and doesnt really help you...however thats my option. others will disagree. as far as eating it depends on what you are eating?..... if you eating alot of carbs all your doing when you work out is burning them off.... you have to eat just enogh carbs that you get the energy you need but you are able to burn them off so your body has to turn to your body fat as the next source. However one thing that i tell my clients is if you look at the ingredients on the back and it has HIGH FRUTOSE CORN in the top three then you need to say away from it. And a stupid saying " if its white its not right "
meaning if it has white flour, pasta, white bread, white rice.... not a good idea.....it take longer for you to burn them off. hope that helps...

but if you need any thing eles then im here to help.

You are very wise. Creatine is junk. If you're gonna spend money on a supplement. Buy whey protein. Good stuff..
