So I have to get a new bike.........had an r6 which i loved, here's my problem, most r6's i see now (used) suck *** have been beaten etc., don't want an 05 r6 not worth the money for an additional 3hp and minor changes, liter bike (2004 r1).........would love to have one and wouldn't be a problem driving however i know myself and I would feel the need to have it on one wheel, which is how i lost my original r6, and on a liter a f#ck up like mine would cost my life, so i'd rather not get a liter til I have a beater bike for a while to practice on so my choices that I can get easily a honda 600rr, kaw zx6, and umm that's it cause i won't be caught dead on a suzuki.... or just suck it up don't stunt and get a liter, I've never driven a honda or kaw but I loved my r6 and if I find a decent one I'm all over it, but in the event I don't and I'm feining for a bike RIGHT NOW, what do you guys suggest, anybody have a kaw or honda and what do you personally think about them...........Damn this is long, sorry, but thanks for the help

Too bad you don't like Suzuki, they are heads above Kaw or Honda. Obviously you've never worked on either, THEY SUCK! Plus new GSX-R600's have a ton of nut....

 

Nope, never owned or worked on a suzuki, just seems that suzuki's are the honda civcs of the bike world.... not saying there bad bikes but it seems like a lot of squid's are attracted to them, they get a 600 put a yoshi on it with some stickers extend the swing arm, and then they are icy hot stunting it.... sad **** probably was an excellent bike til a bunch of 17 years olds took over

 

Unfortunatly that is true for every bike. Everyone has a CBR, GSX-R, ZX, YZF....it's up to you to make it your own. That should tell you something if alot of people have Suzukis.... :YEAH

 

Get the 600rr you wont regret it, this is not a honda thing its just a great ride.

I personally don't dig on kawabungas. I think they make a great engine to build up for race only but other than that I just don't buy 'em.

f4i is good.. i would recommend that or the 600rr.. kawa are nice but i prefer a honda for stuntin..

 

id never buy a kawi. just by looking at them and how they are put together just reminds me of thoes chinese pocketbikes. it just donets look very solid to me. just my opinion i have never owned one before.

i have a 600rr and i love it. solid build reliable and amazing *** top end. not really a wheelie bike but get it up around 9k and its nice.

Honda f4i for sure unless ya got a big ***. Suzuki's seats are for people with big ***' in my opionion.

 

kawasakis are solid...they are built for war straight out of the factory.

 

Rather than tell you to buy a Kaw(since I am biased) I suggest you sit on or ride if you can the bikes you are looking at and make a choice . The performance of these bikes is so close that most people choose on brand loyalty and looks.

I prefer kawasaki but that's all I've ever owned. I put 10,600 miles on my EX500 and had no problems. I've put about 1,000 miles on my 636 and no problems so far.
