600cc is enough

I rode my boys ZX6 this weekend. I haven't rode too many 6s but I like the ZX6 a lot. It's really easy to wheelie. The carbs on the Kaw have a lot smoother throttle response than the injection on my 929. I noticed that if you chop the throttle in a wheelie the front doesn't drop that fast. I figured it was because it doesn't have as much compression braking as the 929. Riding my friends bike made me realize that once you are riding wheelies at the balance point you don't need that much power. I could see how crossed up wheelies would be harder on a 6 but you could make up for that with some 500'+ stoppies

I've been thinking about this a alot lately, wasnt sure what to buy for next season really. after seeing 9rr after 9rr after 9rr in all these stunt vids I was convinced it was the bike to get for stunting, although I believe this is not really the case anymore. Look at joe brown (xxx) the guys riding a 600cc Ninja and he stunts better then anyone I've seen stunt. I guess if you have the talent and the proper gearing any stunt is possible on any bike.

why go out any blow 8grand on a bike your gonna drop over and over again?

600cc is more than enough if you have the balance point. You just have to make sure you stay in that balance point...makes combos a bit more difficult but besides that you can do anytying. My whole crew rides 600's. Currently clutching all my tricks up in 2nd gear besides 12 oclocks. 2nd gear cluch up tank wheelies or feet over front wheelies no problem.

zx6r on freeway Make sure you right click and save target as to your computer or it might not work.

R6 and zx6r on freeway same thing right click and save target as.
