Re: start to freestyle motocross

a lot of freestyle guys use 2 stroke bikes, but the 450 should be fine. Each bike is a little different to each rider, cut out the airbox cut the fender, cut the seat down and start trying some things.

4 strokes will never be better my friend, they could only wish to be equal!!
i like em all, but it really p!sses me off to hear someone(inmost cases) that has no experience with a 2 stroke or even owned or rode one pass judgement, my rm250 will run with most end of story. off subject but my banshee will kill any 4 stroke quad(stock based engine).

Before you get into FMX, practice and get good on the motorcross track, once you got a hang of things at the track you can start doing No handers, No Footers, Nothings, can cans over like a 40-60foot table top to get a hang of things in the air with less control. But before you try FMX practice atleast a year on the motorcross track and get good at just riding.

I agree with this 100%, I was racing for a few years than starting doing heal clickers, lazy boys, etc over the finish line just for fun and thats what started me off in FMX... I like attention. hahahahaha

Re: start to freestyle motocross

The 450sxf will be a bit heavy but if your comfortable any bike will do. Most pros run a 2stroke coz you can get the same power but its engine is lighter. But each to their own.
