clutch, best one to get & would u recommend them?

i just bought an 04 crf50 w/ 2bro's exhuast, handlebar kit, & have a few more goodies ordered for it.

I also have an 03 xr50 coming in this week that has the 88cc kit done but no clutch.

I'm new to the 50 scene, so i guess i'm just curious if people recommend clutch or not, what the best clutch is, and how hard they are to install?

I'm probably not going to do one on the crf50 as i'm going to keep that one more user friendly for my g/f

thanks in advance!

I just got these installed over the weekend. http://www.dratv.com/heduclspsetf.html

Took a little over an hour to get them in, you'll need the 4 prong clutch tool and somthing to hold the assembly in place while you lossen the clutch nut. I used one of those rubber strap wrenches.

So far I am really happy with the new springs and they are a very noticable improvement over the stock ones.

Just my $.02

so i guess u guys are saying u prefer to have the clutch vs just the stock no clutch gearing? i'm so used to riding my bikes w/ clutches that it feels weird to not have on on this little 04 crf50, i figured it may be a nice addition for the 03 88cc xr50 i'm getting this week though.

very cool - i appreciate the input guys, seems like its more functional to have a clutch than not to have one.

oh **** yeah i though this guy was talking about clutch plates and springs and stuff, but i think he's talking about manual clutches... don't worry about it wagz just bore it out and stunt the hell outta it. you know these things already have a muti plate clutch system in'em, and that's what most people upgrade.

i got sik50s clutch plates springs and gastkets for 69 bucks just make sure if you get hd springs to only use 2 of them and not all 4 because ur bike will still pull in false neutral if u use all 4

what are you talking about? that your bike will not have a false neutral if you use all four? i have all four installed and my tranny works better in every way, just had to adjust the clutch properly that's all.
