Mr N00b needs help

Hey guys,

I have a 2010 CBR600RR -1/+3 sprockets with 520 pitch conversion, and have been doing track days for a while and I am getting pretty quick.

I have realized that speed does not equal skill, and skill is what I want to develop.

I did a HEAP of research and found a good cage, tiger shark, guess what, out of business.

What is the best cage for my bike? Real experiences would be appreciated.
what clutch is the best fit for this as well?

I have not had the ***** to try and wheelie this thing yet, there is only 20 of them in AUS (Leyla versions anyway) so I really want a cage.

Also any recommended parts would be filth.

I am looking at over sized renthal bars and clamps (drilling required). I would probably switch back to clip-ons for track days though, and put a bolt through the holes so they let it on the track. Forgot a bolt in my fiberglass last time and the fat bastard made me go scavenge for one.

anyway, cheers for the advice in advance.

Cheers mate,

Yeah looked at them, not bad. I was hoping to get away without cutting the fairings. The Tigershark ones just slotted in when you removed the matt cover, and were beefy.

Go sick innovations, you can cut a small hole with a hole saw.

Not to be a dick, but if your worries about cutting your fairings do you really want to stunt her?
Maybe get a cheap f4i/636 that you don't care about too much and enjoy the destructive experience. Just my two cents.

You make a good point. I am happy to lose a bit of paint, was more an ease of fitment, and the beefy structure of the TigerShark cage that was appealing to me.

I will just be slapping on some ebay fairings anyway.

Seems as though sick innovations is the go.

Cheers guys.
