throttle sticking

throttle sticking

bike went down pretty hard on the right side in the dirt, now the throttle sticks bad, almost like a throttle lock any way to get it unstuck though? i tried to pull the grip back away from the control a little and wd40 but no luck, any hints?

Regstunts is a decent person
Happened to me too. You have to unscrew the kill switch box and slide it off the bar end just a it (1/4" or so) then tighten it back up. Should work fine after that.

Like he said , take it apart and put it back together should fix it.

i'll verify that too, unfortunately i've had to do it twice now, and i still haven't crashed my bike (everyone else wants to)

But wouldn't it be easier just to dis-assemble, then re-assemble???

Glad u fixed it - i stood there puzzled for 10 minutes before me and my boys figured it out.

Hmmmm. have you attempted to un screw it and open it into two then pack some gerase in??? Thats what I did now it turns like butter...also see what's wrong too.
