just got a 01 xr 50...what should i do ...where to i get a wheelie bar? someone was saying new springs help wheelies? filter? etc...what exactly should i get done to it ? im going crazy wondering and cant find ne thing on the net? HELP !!!

but..so order the front fork spring and the rear spring....? the rear one is diffferent from stock? what about tha cdi rev box thing?

and do the handlebars make a huge difference?

 

should i do motor mods? air filter and little things like that , or just leave stock?

 

I have done these mods

Big bars
K&N
Street tires
Billet throtle
Both shocks
Removed the spark arrestor
Re jet the carb
Oh yea and furr it out

Its much more fun to ride than when it was stock.

 

thanx metal....billet throttle...whats that do?shocks, meaning? new spring or ? lost when it comes to these things so...

go back and read some old posts,, there is a ton of info on this site that will answer a lot of you questions... have fun,,, balance is key young grasssmoker.......

 

Just ride the thing for a while. None of those mods are going to make you wheelie like a pro. You got to learn to balance the thing.

 

balance........ ahh i hate it,,,,,,,,,, once you can wheelie and control the brake,, then you have to battle sideways falling....... or maybe i'm going to slow............. have fun bro

 

I sell all the fiddy ****. You name it I can get it.

I am now stating to stock complete handlebar assemblys, skid plates, and springs. :D

I don't know how you guys ride yours with the stock bars. After 10 minutes my hands would be so cramped up I would have to take a break . The big bars and throttle are such a big improvement

also do i needd the bars clamp throttle hole kit? or can i just get the bars and put the stock stuff on their?
