Angry How do you know its an F4i?

I have been searching through millions of adds with people claiming their bike is an F4i...
How the hell do you know?
Some say in England the F4i is actually an F Sport others say its an F...
I just asked a guy if it says it on the bike documents and he doesn't think it does so what the hell?

Its all very well saying the F4i's the best beginner bike but how do I know i've actually got one???

Re: How do you know its an F4i?

Ok, I just phoned Honda. The F4i doesn't exist. There is F4-1, F4-2, F4-3 etc. There is FS-1 and FS-2. FY, FX ect.
Honda's a good choice coz the engine is sound. I want to ride not **** about in the garage every single day before I can get out on it again.

Re: How do you know its an F4i?

The F4 is carb with single seat and single solid headlight. Made in 1999-2000.

F4i has split seat and split headlight that meets in the middle. The important difference being the fuel injection system. The Naming issues that you are experiencing are all correct, the split seat gives it a sports look so the F4i was considered as the F Sport. This model was from 2001-2002

In 2003 they brought out the CBR600RR ( F5 ) and moved away from the tourer style and more to the Race Replica (RR).
