Thumbs down is there an easy way to change a 50 tire??

i tried to mount my street tires and i put about 4 pinch holes in my tube. patched em up. and failed again. thats about when i gave up. any tips?

Lots of soapy water. Just be careful.

easy way of mounting a 50 tire ..... specially if its a street tire .... pay a shop ! not worth the aggravation and pinched tubes

i thought tires on my mx bike were a bitch. these are the reason why people spontaniously beat people.

try using one of these to keep the bead in place and baby powder instead of soapy water, a very little bit of air pressure in the tube before putting on the second bead so the tire sits deep into the tire helps too.

i can get you one for 12.00 or so

+1 on paying a shop to do it. It's worth the extra money to me.

Like another guy said, soapy water helps. But a VERY big help is warming up/ heating up the tire itself. Make is more plyable and easier to bend while putting it on. Good tire irons also help. Stay away from the screw drivers. As with just about everything else, practice makes it easier.

Just pay a shop, mine kicked my a** paid a local shop 40.00 to put both my street tires on... I can change the tires on my f4i but couldn't do it on my 50!!

i am a little late here but wd40 work the best and nice tire irons... ^ $40? mine only charges $8 per tire

yea pay the shop, but if you must do it yourself, the best trick I know is to put the tire in the oven and get it hot. did it once and it was so much easier
