Hey guys and gals.

As the title says im new here but not only new to this forum but to the entire pocket bike community. I actually found a pocket bike in the trash just yesterday(01.24.10) and after making contact with the resident they confirmed they threw it out. now once i got it home i came to realize it wont start. i thinking the battery might just be dead. but once i get it al charged up i was wondering what else could be possible problems. i have a pull start on it as well...i tried getting up going with that to no avail. Now as stated before im a total newb to this stuff and the biggest problem is i dont know the make or model of this pocket bike but after some research and visual comparison ive come to the conclusion that it might be the "x7 bullet"

so any help would be awesome im gonna continue to troll around the forums and try and educate my self a lil bit about the community, the hobby, and above all the lifestyle.

Edit: Thus far ive deducted that th battery is not at faultand i also found at the primer bulb was shot so i replaced but still no go ...still needing some advice...

 

try pulling the plug to see if its got spark let it lay in the side of the motor and see if it arks while you crank it. then check fuel if that doesn't fix then air. If it doesn't have one of teh key ingrediants it won't run needs AIR, FUEL, IGNITION. start there and report back.

 

Pulled the plug no spark...so this leads me to belive its the spark plug...now I still wanna clean the tankk and lines what should/can I use...

yea i got two differant posts over there as well...not much info being shared...tryingt o find an active or at least more helpful forum...thanks for the suggestion.

 

pull the engine clean the carbs get new plugs clean filter get fresh gas 50:1 ratio and put the choke on full to start it
