Want to learn circles... where do I start

OK so I basically have 1st gear bp wheelies down and would like to try to start learning circles. I dont have pegs on the bike yet if it makes it easier that way. How did everyone learn circles and what tips do you have for me?
thanks

since this is in the 50 section...use your foot as a training wheel....and get a street tire it makes it a lot easier...

just kinda lean the bike over but try to keep your weight over the bike or it will just fall into the circle.

Yea I can turn like a half or 3/4 circle and then fall out of it and usually fall off the side. I dont have a street tire so if that makes it harder o well ill get one adventually. How high should i turn the idle up? right now its low. Should it be up to the point where I can coast with it while at bp?

leave the idle at the stock setting(only reason to ever turn it up would be for nohanders)
drag your left foot like ezec mentioned.
street tires are 12-20 bucks so buy one now or else your just holding yourself back

I still like to put around some trails too so I like the dirt tires for now. Do street tires really make that much of a difference?

I'm three quarters of the way there, it isn't easy. Just start turning and get them tighter and tighter.

Street tires make a huge difference!!! I did not think so till I got mine. After the first lot session with them on I came home and threw out the knobbys because I will never run them again...

Control and Balance are 100 times easier on street tires:YEAH

Re: Want to learn circles... where do I start

yea 06 is the last year for the f4i. I dont stunt it yet though cause i want to pay it off first before anything happens to it and its my ride to school and back so I bought the fiddy to mess with.

and an update on the circles. It was my first day that i actually tried them for about an hour. Im starting to feel more comfortable now when trying to turn and can correct myself better when im turning. I got a full circle in a couple times and feel like im making progress and will have them soon.... even with the dirt tires for now.
