I heard if you put a Bus steering wheel on a 900RR with an up 50 rear sprocket...you will be better than AC Farias!

I'll try anything once...fuk it...that's what got us all this far, and it'll neva make it if we don't push it farther...

CC, get that steering wheel off...I wanna see some circle stoppies!!!

:laughing

Darius 08-29-2003 07:52 AM

For sure man got to give trikchik mad props that is sick!!!

Tony D 08-29-2003 11:01 AM

I agree w/ matt Burnouts are mad harder with mx bars style endos harder getting crossed up harder------- Like ive always said--- Its style-- It works for me and I love it. Mx bars or clipons I can rock either one and ive learned and understand both styles... so dont hate -----as far as apperance goes when you do it right it looks bad ass..
Stock bike for stuntin = chevy tahoe
streetfighter = Darius's Escalade

Johnny Kula 08-29-2003 01:31 PM

idonno...

I think

darias' bike = darias' escalade
modified stunt bike = tahoe with no doors or windows and just came out of the Scooter Trash video!!!

lol

my bike = tahoe...lol...i want an escalade though...

Rick929 PBR 08-29-2003 04:51 PM

havent tried anything but regular wheelies i.e. spreaders, crossovers, seat standers....... on kyles bike

i dont know if it was all in the bars or what, but that bitch felt like a 400ex

but then again no handers we're mad ez also

i think it coulda been the ant mist 205 rear tire setup

haha dariass:twofinger

codebluezx9r 08-31-2003 03:56 PM

personally i think streetfighters suck. its kinda like cheating it make certain stunts easier . i think everyone should have to keep their bikes with all fairing, zip ties optional, and as stock as possible to be fair. but wtf do i know.

couple of ?'s on the conversion

i have been thinking of making the change for awhile. i wanted to wait to the end of the season, because i heard it's such a big change. i shattered my ankle last week at the starboyz comp so my season is now over, might as well get started. i have a few questions for the guys that already did it(i have a 929, the only one i know who has one too is tim from p.o.b.)

1.my triple tree isn't straight across so i cant just drill in the adapters......should i
A.try to get a new one machined
B.will one off another bike fit?
2. will i need to buy longer cables and if so where?
3. how hard are those acerebis light kits to hook up?

JAVIER 09-08-2003 02:16 PM

I THINK YOU CAN USE THE 900RR TRIPLE TREE CLAMP.YOU GOING TO NEED LONGER BRAKE LINES.GET STEEL BREADED LINES OF THENEW HONDA 919 IT WORKS PERFET.THE SCOCK CLUCH CABLE IS FINE.THE LIGHT COST ABOUT $45-65 JUST USE THE WIERS FROM THE STOK LIGHTS.TO HOOK IT IN TO THE BIKE IT HAS RUBER MOUNT THAT RAPS AROUND THE FORCKS

kirk newcomer 09-09-2003 11:41 AM

thanks

thanks i'll check into that stuff as soon as i get back to work.

So it's not my sportbike, and it's not a stuntbike, but man is it comfy. It's just my beater bike.

EVERY UK STUNTRIDER USES STRAIGHT BARS (STREETFIGHTER STYLE) Personally i think they are gay.

it looks more raw and of the cuff if you can do your sh*t with standard bars.
we are the only pro stunt team in the uk that are leaving the renthols at home and thats why people love us.

then again each to there own, if you can stunt ride you get my respect know matter what you'r on. peace out...:apimp

We are all guilty of modifying our bikes to our advantage. No one can say they are running stock gears, we all change them to benifit us. I can 12 a stock bike but I can control it better with a bigger sprocket. I still have clip ons but may convert in the future, I am not in it for the looks, just to progress.

I need all the help I can get. I've been mxing all my life so they feel natural :fiddy , don't care too much if people don't like what they look like . My streetfighter is getting them . check this link out , I gonna get this guy to make one for me . They look good and are half price from any I've seen. Re: Dirtbike bars on a streetbike

Clip ons are better. Don't get me wrong but, mx bars look cool and everything but clip ons are just more fun. B/C mx bars are raised, they change the angle at which you sit to a more 'upright' position. Sure it may feel better but it's a streetbike, it has to put you in a agressive/race position. That's what make a streetbike a streetbike!

Re: Dirtbike bars on a streetbike

Some people like streetfighters some don't . Definately won't catch me with moto bars or a 80t rear sprocket, but I like "sportbikes". Trust me, ask people , particularly females that aren't associated with the sport, what they think streetfighters look like. Most will say really old pieces of shit. Now some will say who cares what they think but either way it's all personal preference.I think if you want that setup why not ride a motard. Stunts will be that much easier. :2cents

Re: Dirtbike bars on a streetbike

does anybody know if cb600 hornet triples would fit onto an f3?

it would be the cheapest and easiest way to put bars on an f3 if that's the case

Re: Dirtbike bars on a streetbike

I think mx bars make everything harder and those who run them should be praised.
