I figured I would post a new topic for this. Who is going? Where do we want to meet?

 

Well, looks like I won't make it...because...

Oh, Ryan, you're going to love this one!

Bike is going in for a tranny overhaul! Hopefully be covered under warranty, but don't know until it's torn down. Second gear shift fork is bent, and not keeping pressure on the gears and it's jumping a tooth every now and then...feels like the clutch slipping. The tech I talked to said he should be able to get it done pretty quick, they're real hard up for work right now...so keeping my fingers crossed.

 

i would like to know where this ride is going and where it starts and stuff

 

if you go to englehart and bitch and moan alot they will cover it... trust me i know!! gotta love old school yammie trannys!

 

For those of you who have never been 'cruding'...

The Crud Run starts at Kit's Corner in Pine Bluff, and goes to Leland...which is approx. population 12. The route is whatever you make it. You could probably go from Pine Bluff to Leland in 20 mins., but most people take the 'long' way around and make it take about 2 hours. Earlier in the year, I went with the MSB group, and they have some really nice roads mapped out. It's a good time, and you see a lot of bikes you normally wouldn't see on the road. It's more of a show than a ride, but you make it what you want.

 

Triumph boys are going.... we usally meet at Team triumph and go a back route up to Kit's corner and go on to leland from there... I'm going for sure

 

Is the ride just for Truimph riders?

 

No... it is open to who ever wants to ride with us

 

Mike, I would like to go. I am getting pretty good at cornering my F4. (not as good as you or Dan, but a lot better than I have ever been)

I like going on the Triumph corner rides. Its a change of scene and all the Triumph owners are really nice.

Duker, we should go on this.

Even if Duker doesnt go, I am pretty sure I will go with ya Mike. I had fun last year on these rides.

 

What time are you meeting up and leaving? I am going to go.

 

I was contemplating it...BUT...now that i have bent forks i'm thinking high speed corners on that bike is not the best idea in the world..HOWEVER i will prolly just drive up there and unload at the bar, tear some **** up and then head for home.....

I am going to be leaving from Lemans at 9 instead of Team Triumph. A guy from work and I are making our own route up there.

 

You know you are both welcome with us... we don't go straight up there... usaly hit a few good roads on the way...
