i'm sure at least some of you heard about the guy getting hit by a drunk driver near milton and losing both of his legs?? His name is Jay Baker from Edgerton and is 25 years old. Well the guy driving the car had no insurance and the insurance the rider had won't cover the cost of his medical bills and he would like to get prostetic legs(he wants to ride again among other things). so they are putting on fund raising benifits. one is a poker run on oct 4th. here is a web site with more info and tells the whole story. I have offered to chauffer him in my sidecar...not sure if this will happen though....havent heard if he accepted yet. just thought some of you might want to have some fun for a good cause.

any way else that we can help let us know ryan and i have knowen (partied alot with andy in whitewater) and when i heard about the accident this spring i was out raged and then i dind;t hear anythign about how his bro was doing. last time i heard he was on the edge of death so it sounds like the best that could happen did and he pulled thru it

for those of you that don;t know jay was riding his harley down 59 going home one night and 3 drunk guys in a car came across the center line and hit him by snuffy's bar on 59 2 of the ppl in the car ran and the 3rd would have but he broke his ankle (thats the story i heard anyways. i hope these ****ers rot in jail with some hells angels or somthing!!!!!!!!

 

shep that is exactly what happened. all 3 guys were gonna leave him for dead. doctor told his parents he had a 5% chance of living....well he sure showed them. he plans to ride again some day too. check the website forthe whole story and details on the poker run but i think it starts in cambridge at 11 and ends around 4 in indianford, but then there will be food and raffles and an auction. donations can also be made by the contact info on the website!! that is a great idea!! or maybe contact them and put on a benifit show somewhere. i'm glad to see some of you plan on going to this also. I have never even met the guy but for some reason I jsut feel the need to help out with this. I guess part of it is selfishness in hoping that others would do it for me so i'm gonna do it for him.

 

good idea donny lets try and do something like that guys. put on a benefit show for him or even all the injured riders in southern wis.it would be a good thing to look into.
