Update on Ryan
Im sitting here at the hospital with Ryan....He's yelling at nurses to come in and sit him up.....he's stoked we did Byron, and pissed cause his back hurts.. The doctors just informed him about his leg ......Ryan looked the doc in the eye and said....."well .....atleast im alive" He is doing ******* awesome...he will be able to receive visitors pretty soon... I will post more later on today

Thats awsome. I'm glad to hear he took the news about loosing his foot so well. I couldn't imagin waking up and finding out my foot wasn't there. Its nice to see people think of the positives in situations like this. Like when he said "at least I'm alive".

Just got back from the hospital.. Seriously.... He's doing great.. His speech is slow and labored...BUT he's talking.. I'm not sure if he is going to remember me being there today, or the doctors telling him the extent of his injuries.....but we were able to hold simple conversation for the first time today..... Towards the middle of the afternoon, the nurses gave him the ole' morphine button to hit every 10 minutes.. So after about 30 minutes of that he was out like a light.... Keep up the positive thoughts and prayers people!!!!

Good news!! sounds alot like when my brother was in a cycle accident, everyday the news will be better and better, and next thing ya know duker will be resting his ***** on ryans head once again!

wow, I am super relieved to hear the GREAT news that he is doing so much better .... I can't wait to see him out and about again and being the same old Ryan as we all know him to be. Take care buddy, and make sure you get well soon.

duker i heard you guys text me today. but i had to get a loaner phone and im guessing its not working the greatest so i didnt get them but i got outa work eraly, so i desided to drive past his house and his parents were home and i saw his mom i knew somthing was good, i figured it was the news that greg had called me and told me about him finally getting all those damn tubes outa his month but she smile and said ryan is talking and he knew who we all were and asked us "where the hell is neal" and it felt great so i went and talked to greg and he looked so much better and we talked for awhile. i am so happy that ryan is recovering so fast but i very happy that his mom and dad finally have some of the weight off there shoulders and got to talk to their son and he remembers things from his past and his friends.....
