Re: Help with tank wheelies

dent it, 1st gear,, start off super slow 3-8 kph pop the clutch and lean back so you can see whats going on.. Roll back onto your tailbone for spreaders.

Re: Help with tank wheelies

on a 900rr you dont relly need to clutch it but it will come up faster if you do.plus because the tanks are already prety flat you might not have to dent it. Once you find the balence point just lean back, stick up you legs and spred them.

Glad someone else mentioned this!!!! You should definately have normal sit down and standup wheelies wired to the point that you have experienced every possible situation and know how to react as well as how your bike reacts. Coming down from a spreader or high-chair to hard can send you over the bars in a hurry! Not to mention the looping backwards factor. As for the tank denting....Don't bother, put some sort of adhesive on yer' tank first, grip tape or surfboard traction and the morre times you try your tank will NATURALLY dent in everytime you come down from a wheelie while sitting up there. As for the other stuff, I'd rather not say, if you bounce off the pavement and hurt yourself I don't wanna' have been the guy who told you what to do!!

Be cool :YEAH
