Wheeliest, did you ever finish that oven? When ever you get around to snapping some pictures could you get a couple of the oven too? I am in the process of building one and would like to see a few pics. Anxious to see how the bike is coming along as well :YEAH

nope... 98 GSXR 750 forks, 2002 GSXR 750 triple, CBR900rr axel with 2 custom made inserts to allow the axel to sit and be clamped in the fork bottoms, and custom made caliper adaptors for the brakes.

If you want a GSXR or R1 front end on a honda frame the triple will drop right in and the bottom bearing should work fine. You just need to install a new upper bearing. NSK sealed bearing; part # on the box is 6906DDUCMAV2S ... or another sticker on the box is; 037 4862 ... and it's around 10 bucks

I used that to get an R1 front end on my F4i as well

Re: Project F3 Fighter

front felt stiffer for sure. No brake upgrade, so those are still single piston calipers, but they did work pretty well. It wasn't a stuntbike though so I didn't really endo on it much. If you do it, do the whole front end with wheel and brakes and you'll get a big improvement

Re: Project F3 Fighter

This thread is awsome! I am actually building a F3 myself but I am using RC51 componets instead of 600rr. I am hoping that it all works out. It should be one heck of a build.
