SHOP F*CKED my r6 i need a new bike

I had my bike in the shop just to get a new tire, Well the guy that put it back on for some reason had the chain adjusted waaay to loose, the first ride i took the chain fell off and broke threw my case. ... They said it would be more expensive to get a new engine, so he is going to have a insurance agent come look at it and give me a check, Not too excited but i need a new bike asap. Im looking to spend anywhere from 2000-4500, i live in reno nv, but i will pay to ship the bike from pretty much n e where in the us for the right deal.

Actually you fucked your own R6 by not checking the chain slack after the tire was changed before you took off. I always double check chain slack, Regardless who changed the tire you should of at least kicked the chain to see how loose it was. I blame your own stupidity

+/- 1.....that's a tough call.....while I always inspect any work done on any of my vehicles.....one would normally assume a shop would return their **** race ready.....

Re: SHOP F*CKED my r6 i need a new bike

Why would the chain be out of adjustment after a tire change? There is no reason to touch the adjusters for swapping a tire. If the chain was so loose that it actually came off you definitely should have heard it before it did.

I mean that's a bit harsh. Should have checked, yes! But isn't that the point of paying a professional to do it (so you don't have to).
