I am licensed for now. Got 1 speeding ticket 92 in a 70. Fought it, lost, cop said he checked my speed and the speed of the truck behind me with radar while he was moving. And somehow the minivan I was right behind he never saw. I went by the pd to get someinfo before it went to court and one of the other cops was talkin ****. I told him try and not kill anyone today, and slow down go through intersections. He turned around and walked away. He killed woman when he blew through a blind intersecion chasing someone for having a brake light out or something like that. But anyway that ticket cost me $147.
My ticket was a reckless for standing on the seat. I saw the cop before I let go of the handlebars so I hopped down. Nowhere to run and didn't think I was going to get a reckless so I stopped. Big mistake. My buddy I was riding with told her she was f*@ked up for writing reckless driving because he is a sheriff and that what I was doing was not reckless. Anyway my lawyer rides too and he doesn't like the cop and he has beat her before so I'll find out next month. Dumbass campus cops.
The worst ticket I have seen was when a buddy of mine was riding home from work he fell asleep while riding with 7 other guys, went off into the median woke up and tried to save it and ended up jumping a crossroad. Flew about 200 feet hit, broke both legs. The right femur in teh middle and the left femur right at the hip. The next morning the police came into his hospital room and gave him a ticket for reckless driving, failure to maintain lane. The reckless was because a person said he was weaving in and out of traffic. The cop didn't want to give him one but had to because of a supervisor. The funny thing is he is an MP and he did not and still doesn't have a license to operate a motorcycle and they never wrote a ticket for that.

Summer of 2003 summary:
-careless(dropped to no same-or similar for 1 year)
-speed in car(dropped)
-speed on bike(dropped)
-careless and speed(dropped careless, for guilty speed plea)
-speed in car(dropped to no same-or similar for 1 year)
as long as I get no tickets in the next 1 year(fat chance)...
END RESULT of summer of 2003: 1 speed
and I did all of this without the help of a lawyer(I can do everything they can do...)

What a great topic.
I got a ticket (reckless) for doing a wheelie, then I got another ticket for xceeding 100mph. Those tickets are worth 2 points a piece and I got my license suspended for 6 months. I get it back in May...hopefully. The DMV contacted me recently and are trying to revoke my license all together. I still ride, still have alot more miles on my back tire than the front. But here in OC california you have to watch it.

i've renewed my permit twice. Now i don't have a permit or a license. gotta figure something out... how hard is the driving test for your license? i could probably wheelie through the cones now, but i was just curious, what did everyone else think.
