Speed Kings came out not too long ago and had a lot of different stunts available to do. However the game sucked. The game play sucked, the graphics were not up to par, and the controls blew. it was still just a standard race game too, not with the features of a game like midnight club. midnight club 2 was pretty tight with it's bikes, but very hard to control. i am looking forward to a very progressive stunt game... a good bike game since road rash anyway.

and yes speedkings has cool tricks....but the game itself does suck.

i got alot of stunt related games... from gt3 to speed kings to moto gp...to atv fury to my latest freestly metal x and the only problem is these games arent realistic at all... i mean why get a game that allows someone with no idea to be able to endo or wheelie for ever...i mean cmon if u gonna make it ill buy it but make the **** realistic....and thats my 2 so..

i skipped to the end of this thread but as for a concept you might want to try check out a game called "street legal"

pretty much this is how game works:
you start off with enough money to get a crappy car and a few mods.
you go race for money and respect.
as you get more money and respect u can race people higher up in the "club that your in"
as you move up in the club your car gets better you can buy other cars etc.
in this game there are like 4 clubs you have to move up etc.
the game is open city like gta and stuff and even has a test track to test your car after mods.
not only can u cruise the street and race people but there are special events where u can go and pink slip races ...

just some basic ideas of a game thats like free roaming and lets the user upgrade and still enjoy the game

If they can make a game for backyard wrestling. I dont see why this game cant be made. They made a big poo about all the kids that would do this, and even had it on the news, so wh cant this game be made????

 

along with authentic looking stunt bikes , I think it would be great if some of the riders resemble current icons in the sport like Kyle, thew ,Gorka while at the same time paying them for using their images. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't have a sport. if there was no sport there would be no concept or a market for a video game .I hope this idea isn't overlooked .stunnas are real athletes they should be paid and recognized accordingly. I would like to see anyone of the florida marlins pull off a tenth of what Kyle can do on a bike

 

Make it, I'll buy it, the best game out right now for stuntin' is street kings, I think.

also a saved replay could be like your stunt vids. then the "vids" could be "sold" on the market in the game, to see how well people put them together. the vids would be segments of replays that you choose, and based on a point scale of tricks, it would increase the number of people buying... also you control the cost. you can choose to make it elaborate with lots of art and big-time music soundtrack, or make it a bunch of local artists with very little actual editing. kinda like the franchise mode of Madden 04... but based obviously on stunting.

are there going to be comps you can enter? like in gta:vc when you can enter the destruction derby and that kind of thing... prize money would be nice and helpful.

Yo! Ok, so it's been a while since I (or anyone else) has posted on this. I've been crazy busy with the project I'm currently working on. Anyway, I spoke to my boss just yesterday about this again. I'm getting all of my documentation together for the formal pitch. I still need some crazy footage to show during the pitch. I've spoken with Jayson (from stlshockers) a couple of times. (real cool guy) He was sending out some footage that he had, but I haven't received it yet. The footage he said he had would be perfect, as the higher ups will be much more interested in the freeway "hooligan" type ****, than the comps and slow stuff. Just like the crowds, huh? Anyway, Jayson... Get back to me man, I still haven't gotten the vid. If anyone else can hook a brotha up, let me know. I should have some more news in the next two weeks or so, but don't hold your breath, cause things are slow going here.

By the way... Go out and by T.H.U.G. the new Tony Hawk game

You have a good plan. But being theonly 'stunting' game you should go all out with a possibily of all stunts, highchair wheelies etc
