need help with gsxr wiring and plugs
hey guys-got a 2001 or 2002 (not sure at the moment) gsxr 750 here-it was wrecked, and im putting it back together-now i have a problem. here goes
the bike only has spark for the first couple seconds after you turn the key on-once everything stops cycling, etc, you lose spark until you turn the key off and try it again-what could it be? the fuel pump works when i hook it up, etc
theres a little 2 wire grey plug next to the relay on the front of the battery box under the tank thats unhooked with nothing going to it-whats this for? also, it has no gauges or front wiring, but it ran before the wreck like this-i need help-thanks, mike
i know its a spark problem btw for sure b/c i took the plugs out to check-it has spark at first, then loses it after a couple seconds. Mike

It's my bike, and it worked just dandy without the guages. It was a killer wreck. totally trashed the bike. But Mike is a man on a mission to fix it! I dont think the tip over switch was ever bypassed anyway.. cause when I'd get endo's really high the bike would cut out. Hope you get her runnin man!! Good luck!
