clutch will not disengauge

STUNTED is an unknown quantity at this point
clutch will not disengauge

heres the problem..I have a 01 929 i was riding and thought i blew out my clutch. The clutch woud not disengauge, with the clutchin ist kept moving. so i change the whole basket and found that the outer basket is locking up with the inner basket once lock nut is tightened to specs. (even with out the plates and springs in.. Please help me out i need to stunt!

I have seen clutch baskets sieze on the mainshaft before, and the problem you are having sounds like this may be what happened. Check the bearing and sleeve that fit into the center of the basket.

There's a thrustwasher (part #15 in the microfiche) between the clutch basket and clutch boss that may have some wear or warped. That will cause the clutch boss to hang up on the clutch basket also.
