Blip Seems To Work For Me. I Hold Upward Pressure On The Shifter So When I Blip The Throttle It Shifts.

Cover The Rear Brake, Cause Sometimes It Comes In Hot.

Re: shifting while up on 1....

why shift gears? just bring it up and balance it and hold a steady rpm. if your running out of revvs then your not balanced

BP WHEELIES ARE FUN, BUT AFTER A COUPLE OF MILES AT THE SAME SPEED THEY GET BORING.
BEING ABLE TO SHIFT IN THE AIR JUST GIVES YA ONE MORE THING TO DO SO YA DON'T GET BORED...

Don't bother using the clutch, shifting with out is so mich easier. While you accelerating put some upward pressure on the shifter lever, and let off the gas just a little bit and it will snick right up into the next gear.
It's fine shifting up without the clutch, it's just down that you want to avoid, not good for the gears going down.

I can't either, I hate the way it feels when you bring up a wheelie on the front pegs, it feels like I'm gonna fall backwards.

Re: shifting while up on 1....

yeah at first i could only use the front and now that i learned to put my left on the rear peg it feels perfect there.when i try both on the front pegs it feels like the bikes lifting me waay up in the air and come down before i hit the balance point. front pegs =

Re: shifting while up on 1....

I don't like it cause I can't tell how high I am, and there's too much weight on my wrists. Maybe when I can consistently hit bp I'll try it again.

Re: shifting while up on 1....

No it doesn't happen to me, my wheelies are always straight unless I pull it up crooked from an uneven bounce.

Re: shifting while up on 1....

I don't know how many times I have to say this.

DON'T CLUTCHLESS SHIFT!!! Learn to use the clutch while on one. You WILL screw up your transmission.
You will round the gear dogs, probably shave a shift fork, put a notch in the transmission drum and possibly warp the shift fork shaft. And that my friends is if your lucky. There is a reason the bike has a clutch. use it or get ready for an expensive long ordeal.
You can do it with the clutch. learn it.
