having trouble getting the back up

having trouble getting the back up

now let me say that i have a 500 ninja and it's slow and has no nuts but is what i got and it's what i have to work with i can get the back tire up as high as i want but i can't for the life of me ride on it any tips?

Try stainless steel brake lines or new pads, that usually helps. :YEAH

Yep you have to come in with some speed and compress the forks by slightly getting on the brakes then keep applying even pressure til you get it to come up. I'd say go like 35 or 40mph to learn at first then when youy get the feel for it try em faster.

I started doing em' at 15mph, now I'm doing 25. So you don't really have to go fast, just like you said, "compress the forks and applying even presure"

YA but the reason i said come in with some speed is cuz it may sound like its more dangerous, but really doing the slow speed just pop the back up at a stop sign or something is more dangerous i've seen ppl flip them alot more learning. Just because you dont have the forward momentum to bring you back down when you let off the brake.

But try whatever way you are comfortable with. for me it was alot easier to get them down rolling then just popping them up when i learned.
