f3 streetfighter

we have gotten a 98 f3 strictly for learning new stunts on. The problem is it dont have guages or controls, the controls are really no prob, but I need help with the guage problem. i dont want to put guages on it becaust it will be strictly a parking lot bike. all those wires have got to connect to something. we can get it turn over but its not getting any fire. help a brotha!!!!!

theres one wire you gotta connect.. not the guage wires... i have an f3 streetfighter too and i had the same problem. just look at all the wires and plug the plugs together, trying to start it each time. ya get me? most of them dont have to be connected though

Thanks a bunch, but what wire is it and what does it do? we want to eliminate every wire we dont have to have. hell all we want is a toggle switch to turn it in and off and a push button starter!!! thanks for your help though!! :YEAH

you got any pics of the new setup with the streetfighter light? i don't remember, but did you say the acerbis lights were pretty bright?

i just shoved all the guage wires and **** in behind the acerbis light... just in case i want to go back to full fairings some day... i will try to get some pics but my camera has been sucking lately

you def need a wiring schematic....but basically all u need to keep is the ignitor box,coils,fuel pump(if u still have one).you can strip all the other wires off the harness and just send hot to the box and coils via toggle switch.dont forget to run that fan overtime with another toggle.keep it simple.good luck,later.p.s..use a boat ignition,they are tough and eliminate the need for a separate kill switch cuz the starter operates when u turn it past on..like a car ignition.

Awsome, thanks so much. We are really grateful for all the help and will post pics of the finished product when we are done.
