F3 Streetfighter Conversion ??'s

I'm in the process of going streetfighter and I have a question. I know I've seen some of you guys with F3's that have the dirtbike handlbars. How did you guys do it? I don't want someone to drill through the triple clamp cuz it seems to thin and I don't want it to break. Does someone sell an aftermarket clamp? Also, I have a Scotts Steering stabilizer(custom mount) so I don't want the bars to interfere with it. What do I do? Does someone sell bars that will go over the stabilizer? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

They are in like 5 or 6 pieces already(both sides). It turns out plastics don't hold up very well when your bike is doing 40mph cartwheels and backflips down the road.

Next stop, the olympics....

I'm about to drill mine, it looks plenty thick to me, but if it needs a little extra something I might make a brace to bolt between the two for a little extra support.

But if you feel under the clamp it feels really thin. Maybe like 3/16 or 1/4 inch thick. I guess I could have someone weld some metal underneath the clamp. But I still have the problem of clearing the damper.

Does anyone run a scotts steering damper with dirtbike handlebars?

Re: F3 Streetfighter Conversion ??'s

I had a speigler bar kit (made in europe) on my F3 it was nice, but pricey at $350, but it came with everything- bars tripples brake lines etc.

Like the 600 hornet in europe? Did those come with dirtbike style handlebars?

Anyone else have any advice?
