You probably can even fix it, maybe there is a way who knows, there wrong off the showroom anyhow, (supposingly) thats what ive always heard. I run a 56 tooth rear and i think my **** is like 20 mph off, dont know exactly but i dont really care because i creep when i ride. Also man so u know in the future always run your gear in the rear because it gives you a smoother power delivery because of chain leverage (etc). 2 down on the front gives the chain a bad angle to go around the front sprocket makes the chain bind, it will also eat up the chain guides and your chain. i had like 2 down in the front on my 03 gix 1k and it was really torqy. i converted to a 56 tooth on rear and back to stock front and even being geared more its way smoother now than it was with 2 down.......
