CBR F2 speedometer?

I just bought aftermarket sprockets for my 1994 CBR 600F2, and I was wondering if my speedometer speed will read innacurately now. The guy that I bought my sprockets from said he did not think my speedometer will change because it operates off my front wheel. Is this true?

Re: CBR F2 speedometer?

Yeah, on your front wheel, right next to your odometer sensor.

Actually its not! Its ran from your sprocket, the speed will be off if you change that!!!

Re: CBR F2 speedometer?

Thats your front sprocket by the way, not the rear.

Theres an easy way to test it....Ride a wheelie and look at the speedo, or just do a burn out and look at the speedo. There were things out there before called "healers" or something like that, but i have never heard of anyone that used them.
