1993 ZX-6 Wheelie question

Alright, I have never attempted a wheelie on the street, only on my 80cc dirt bike.. I was wondering what a good RPM would be to bring it up, not 12 it, just bring it a foot or two off the ground, and if I just dump the clutch or if I let out smoothly? Thanks. Oh, and how do I stop a front tire wobble if it starts? I am afraid of whiping out hard on the road, as I have once before...hit some gravel I didn't see on a turn . Thanks
