2nd gear wheelies
what going on guys? im new im fairly new into the sports bike world. i've been riding for like 6 months and i got the 1 gear wheelies down already, now i want to move into the 2 gear wheelies.. i heard most of you use the bounce technique with out clutching could you give me your step by step on how you guys do it. keep in mind that i want to learn this with out clutching it.. one more thing i dont mind to sound stupid by askingthis but if i dont ask how will i learn. right? well, ,could you guys explain to me what sprockets do, i mean i hear everyone say about 1 tooth in the etc could you explain what this do.. i dont mean to be ignorant i just like to learn new stuff.. thank you

Why dont you want to use the clutch? The clutch is your friend daniel son! That 600 hundo is not gonna come up in second too easy with out your buddy the clutch.
Personally I use a bounce and clutch method comes up fast and right to the point. Standing up helps too. This all takes time to get used too, at first it feels weird then it becomes second nature , then you learn too steer
. I guess my advice would be to take it slow and learn when the clutch starts to pull the tire up and take it from there!

I learned these on my R6, both techniques, and it comes up no problem in 2nd and 3rd w/clutch, so your bike should do it no problem. Goes like this, no clutch: in 2nd get rpms up to around 6-7 grand, then bounce on your pegs standing up as you twist the throttle almost wide open. You need to give it alot of throttle to get the front end up. the idea is that the rebound of the suspension lightens up the front so the power lifts it up. Timing is everything, so be patient and practice. It shouldnt come up as quick as 1st, but let it come. Try not to push hard on the bars, this could turn your wheel slightly and when learning give you a nasty tank slapper. Once you get it, it will be second nature. Clutching it is the same idea, but you use the clutch to regulate rpm instead of the throttle.
My 6 is all stock, so your bike should do it just bouncing. As far as gearing, the general rule is plus in the back gives more acceleration/less top speed and minus in the front does the same. the ratio is roughly -1 in front=+3 in back. try different gearing to see what you like. I run the r6 stock, and stunt a 900rr with -2in front, +2 in back and like it.

i stunt my 2002 zx6r
it is completly stock
i can bounch it up with the clutch in 4th gear takes a bit but it comes up and 3rd with ease again this is with clutch and standing
learn ur clutch and stand up
balance point is much easier to achieve while standing
as for gearing like they said go 1 down in front 3 up in back lose speed but great power
i do alot of windscreen ****** on my bike thats sitting on the tank with feet over windscreen and i can only bring it up in 1st so next summer i will go 1down in front 3 up in back then i will be be able to do them in second gear hopefully
