Re: stand up

ok, i ride an R1 and have no probs getting it up ever..here is the thing...on your bike with stock sprockets all you gotta do it get to about 5500RPM blip the throttle about 2 times to the front conpresses then slam it open while standing at the same lean back..the only reason why its prolly not coming up is the simple fact that you are not leaning BACK..video of youself is the best..FYI...

get up to about 45mph slip the clutch, i use one finger pull it in just enough for the rpm's to rise, give it a good rip and then stand as the front comes up

I've got an '01 F4i, I stand offset (left foot on the rear passenger peg, right foot on the front peg), I take my bike to about 8 or 9 grand and kick my legs and pull up on the handle bars and give it throttle . . . that thing will stand right up everytime and I can ride it for miles . . . Standing offset puts more weight on the back and makes it come up a little easier . . . also right when you give it throttle, stick your *** out in the air, that will force your body to lean back . . .

Re: stand up

Pull the throttle back hard in second and slip (in/out...fast but smooth) the clutch around 50mph and it should come right up.

Re: stand up

Sorry guys but i object.. NO NO NO just go at about 45mph in 2nd, stand up on the bike start accelerating fairly rapidly up to 60 let off real quick then crack the throttle and throw all your weight back, I weight 138lbs and i can get it up to the balance point no problem and hold it there for miles and miles

later
