Fukin Gixxer!!

I have no idea what the hell is wrong. I'll be riding down the road my FI light will come on my bike will start sputtering and wanting to die every time I let off the throttle. I checked the code and it comes up C 00. Doesn't that mean nothing is wrong?

Check your battery cables...if they are loose, it will cause an intermittent problem. Also, did you have your tank up for any reason? If you route the fuel line wrong it will die.

Re: Fukin Gixxer!!

How are you checking for the codes? You have to have the key on and then jumper the plug in the trunk.. if you put the jumper on while the key is off and then turn the key on it will always show c00... What year is your 750? If it is a 2000 or 01, check the STV cables between the STV and the STVA. Those years had problems with the cables fraying and making the bike run like crap. If they are frayed, you will probably get a c28 error the cables only cost 10 bucks at the dealer. BTW, do you have a power commander installed?

Re: Fukin Gixxer!!

It's a 01 750. I checked the battery cables they're tight. The stv cables aren't frayed. I checked the codes like you said and still same thing C 00. Fuel line is on right checked that again. No power commander. I do have a TRE on my bike. But, It's been on the bike for 10,000 miles and never had a problem. So, I don't think that's it. I'll take it off and see if that does anything. Any other ideas? Thanks
