F4i fork swap question!

F4i fork swap question!
Just picked up an 01 f4i for $1500, plan to stunt it. It's already got some goodies on it. Has 2012 gixxer front end(forks etc) but i was told the bearings were wrong, and I had to order the gsxr bearings for the head tube. It's sloppy as hell. Is that even a possibly swap or should I sell that stuff and get a 954 or 929 front end? Help greatly appreciated!

I think every gixxer front end on an f4i that ive seen still used 929/954 clamps. Its been a while for me though.
