Re: Tire problem

If your doin slow shiat, i dont think it would matter that much, for a rear tire. I dunno, i have never plugged my bike tires b4, never plan to either. Go to WWW.PARTS411.COM , they have great deals on good tires. I get my M1's from there like $80ish for the front,, and like $110ish for the rear. You have to pay shipping, but even with shipping, its cheaper than going and buying em from your local dealer. ~nick

If the tire shop put a patch-plug... I say ride it. The same thing happened to me about a month after I got my bike. (brand new) I got a new tire around 3500 miles later. I still did wheelies, burn-outs, and other crap. Your tire is no longer Z- rated so its up to you if you want stay under 100 mph. I rode the $hit out of mine. Unless you just have money to throw away... I say keep it. I'm sure the majority of the riders on the site would agree. Just my

Re: Tire problem

id still ride it, but hey, i ride 'em till they fall off...but just like p-kidd said, just stay under 100mph, i mean it could hold but you never know. also, no that it is patched, it is no longer balanced so you might get some shakes at high speeds.

rode on a plug-patch for 3200 miles on the r6 and 2400 on the 1k and neither gave me any trouble. ride it! just (like my mom says) be careful!

Re: Tire problem

if it is in the rear, run it...if it is in the front, change it
